Sons come into the partnership Van Gennip
In 1983 the eldest son Theo joined the van Gennip partnership at the age of 16. Peter, Anton and Marc also join the Van Gennip partnership at the age of 16.
Birth 4 sons Theo, Peter, Anton and Marc
Ellie and Marinus had 4 sons. All 4 of them got the job done. At an early age the boys were given a hectare of land by their parents, on which they had their first experiences as gardeners under the watchful eye of father Marinus.

Marinus van Gennip was born in a peasant family. When he was barely 13 years old he started growing strawberries together with his brother Simon. Marinus married Ellie and together they started a horticultural business on the Planetenlaan in Son en Breugel in 1963.
