How it started...
In the 1960s, the van Gennip family began growing strawberries and strawberry plants when Marinus van Gennip bought his first piece of land in Son en Breugel. Together with Ellie, he had four sons. Theo, Peter, Anton and Marc. After school, the boys helped in the field and learned the trade from their father. All four developed a passion for horticulture and followed in father's footsteps. In 2015, the van Gennip brothers partnered with Mari and son Marco van den Heuvel from Nuenen and later with Bart Goorts from Someren.
The family business grew into the Genson Group. A partnership consisting of Genson Quality Plants, Genson Fresh Fruits & Vegetables and Genson Technical Support. Together we grow!
