OUR STORY
Genson Group is a partnership of the brothers van Gennip, van den Heuvel and Goorts. The family van Gennip started growing strawberries and strawberry plants back in the 1960s. Van Gennip has grown into the Genson Group and is a leader in the propagation and cultivation of soft fruit plants, strawberries, raspberries and leeks. Genson Quality Plants is the specialist in growing and propagating soft fruit plants, including strawberry, raspberry and blackberry plants. Our plants find their way to international growers in Europe and beyond. Genson Fresh Fruits & Vegetables produces strawberries all year round and raspberries in season. We also grow summer and winter leeks in the open field. All harvests are packed and cooled at our own location and delivered to the retail sector via Bakker Barendrecht. We are a proud supplier of Albert Heijn.
